Gary, a native of Kansas City, attended Kansas State, where he received a degree in Architecture. He went on to work for Crown Center Redevelopment, a division of Hallmark Cards, where he developed his design project management skills focusing on office space, fashion retail store, and hotel design and construction. Gary joined Ritz-Carlton International Hotels in Atlanta in the spring of 1987. During his 15 year career with Ritz-Carlton, Gary's design and architectural management and development spanned new development and renovation projects worldwide, from Bali to Barcelona, Bejing to Buenos Aires, and locales in between. During this time, Gary worked with owners and design teams of diverse multi-cultural backgrounds. Gary brings this cultural sensitivity to every real estate transaction. His clients benefit from the unique understanding that everyone has different motivations and perspectives, and one must balance these to work toward a common goal. Gary's transition to real estate was natural—his architectural project management and design combined with his experience purchasing, renovating, and selling homes in Amelia Island, FL, Kansas City, Atlanta, and Washington. When working with clients, Gary's attention to detail and customer service set him apart. Gary's expertise leads to results for his clients—as evidenced by his client base and referrals. Gary understands the importance of a truly international brand and one that can meet his clients where they are—whether down the block or around the globe. Gary is licensed in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia, and works in all neighborhoods in DC—both homes and condos. Gary has two grown sons and two granddaughters living in Durham, NC, and N. Atlanta.
